My Grecian Gallery

This is Kavala, Greece.

Kavala is near ancient Phillipi.
This area is where Paul's missionary journey to
 Macedonia began.
He likely sailed into this very harbor.

This is a mural of an angel telling Paul to go to the people
 of Northern Greece ( Macedonia)

This is me at Delphi

This is where I slept the night before we went to Delphi.
I took my whole bed out onto the patio and slept under the stars.

Thessaloniki

I think this is Lydia's Church. Lydia was a seller of purple
( expensive cloth). She listened to the words of Paul.
I think she was one of the first women converts.

Kalambaka. There are a lot of monasteries perched between
the areas majestic crags.

Modern Athens definitely seems to have seen better days. I really don't
know what this building is, but it looks like something you only
see in history books.

This was the day of the transportation strike. There were a few
protesters around the corner. Luckily nothing serious went down.

Scars from this Summer's riots , or the
latest fashion in window design from Athens ?

Mycenae. The Lions gate and the Treasury of
Atreus. The Dome in the Treasury was one of the largest in
the Ancient world. On the way out of the city I jumped up
and touched the lintel of the Lions Gate.

Don't bother me, I am at an Olympic Stadium.
