Time To Study

WOW! It is already midterm time. It is crazy that in some of our classes we have only had about three days that we have had classes and it is already midterm time.I hope that it won't be to bad.

Yesterday we went on a field trip to where the Israelites and Philistines were camped and where David slew Goliath. We also tried our hand at using a sling. We also went to some caves that were pretty cool.

There was also an incident off the coast of Israel today. The accounts have been varied but apparently there was a small convoy of ships that tried to break the blockade of the Gaza Strip and so Israel tried to stop them from breaking the blockade. They were supposed to be a humanitarian group but Israel was suspicious that they might smuggle in materials that could be made into weapons.

The Jerusalem Post said that there was not much of reaction from the Palestinians in East Jerusalem except there was some kids throwing rocks at official in the Old City. There was also a few other incidents throughout Israel.

As a result we can take a Taxi to West Jerusalem but we can't walk around East Jerusalem and the Old City until further notice.

Since I don't have too many Shekels to spend on cab fares I will have lots of time to study for midterms.
