The Day of St. Valentine

Well today was a nice day. I got to go to the homecoming of one of my missionary companions. I have seen a couple of people that I knew during my mission in the past few days but before that I didn't run into to many people. He gave a pretty good talk and it was fun to catch up a little and see what had happened since I left.

I really didn't do much else today. I did read a little from "Don Quixote". It is a big book and I have never tackled a 'project' this big. I saw it in the bookstore one day and so I picked it up before I came home for the holidays. I have never read a book so big. I actually think it has been a while since I had read from it. It has been at least a month. Hopefully, I will finish it in the not to distant future.

One Year ago. I was going to go to a dance or something like that but it didn't work out. It was a weird situation anyways. Well, I thought it strange that I ended up reading the beginning of "Heart of Darkness." As it turns out I had to read it for a class and it is actually about European Colonialism rather than some tragic love story between two people. But I nonetheless thought that was an interesting way to spend Valentines day.
I do recall that there was a good dinner that night at the dinning hall. They tried to make it look fancy. I think they made a roast. Yum. Yum.

--- Today when I got home from the Farewell I decided to bake a Pizza. It was a while since I had a Pizza but it was fairly satisfying. I also had some Creme Soda which was also good. ----
